Nigeria Gets 30 New Senior Advocates

The Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee has named 30 lawyers as recipients of the 2010/2011 award of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
The list comprises of lawyers in private practice, some in the field of academics as well as government lawyers. 15 awardees were listed for each year.
The list was contained in a statement issued in Abuja by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Sunday Olorundahunsi.
Among the awardees are Oluwemimo Ogunde (son of renowned playwright, the late Hubert Ogunde); Hassan Liman, James Igwe, Norrison Quakers, Prof. Oluwole Smith, Dr. Perkaa Akpei, Abiodun Owonikoko, Anthonia Akinlawon, Ferdinand Orbih and Director/Head, Civil Litigation, Federal Ministry of Justice, Mrs. Agatha Mbamali.
