Sarah Jibril Appointed As Jonathan’s Special Adviser



PDP Presidential aspirant Sarah Jibril and seventeen others have been appointed as aides for the office of the President and that of the Vice President.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim announced today that the new aides will be sworn in by President Jonathan on Thursday by 2 pm at the Presidential Villa in Abuja
Those appointed include former Chief of Staff, Mike Oghiadomhe who will return to his position, Kachalla Mohammed, who has been appointed as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Hassan Tukur ,Principal Secretary to the President, Professor Abubakar Sambo,Special Adviser on Energy to the President, Presidential Aspirant of the Peoples’ Democratic Party ,Mrs. Sarah Jibril, Special Adviser on Ethics and Values to the President and Mrs. Sarah Pane ,Special Adviser on Social Development to the President.
Dr.Tunji Olagunju also featured on the list as Special Adviser on NEPAD to the President, Oronto Douglas has been reappointed as Special Adviser on Research and Strategy to the President while Senator Joy Emordi is the Special Adviser on National Assembly matters to the President
Others include Honourable Kingsley Kuku who retains his position as Special Adviser on Niger Delta Affairs to the President, Olakunle Osunyikanmi, the Special Adviser on International Affairs to the President, Professor Dan Adebiyi, Special Adviser on Special Duties to the President.
Dr. Reuben Abati of the Guardian Newspapers was also appointed. He is to resume as the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President while Mrs.Asma’u Abdulkadri got the job of the Special Adviser on Gender Issues to the President . Sullivan Nwakpo is the Special Adviser on Technical Matters to the President


The aides for the Vice President are Yakubu Abdullahi, Special Adviser on Political Matters, Bashir Sufyan, Special Adviser on Legal Matters and Isaiah Balat, Special Adviser on Special Duties
