Bomb Rocks Abuja Shopping Mall!

0

The Boko Haram sect might have made good their promise to resume bomb attacks on the Federal Capital Territory as a loud explosion was on Tuesday evening recorded in the popular Wuse 2 area of Nigeria’s federal capital, Abuja. The target of the bomb attack was AJ’s Place, located in Sharif Plaza. The place is situated near Banex, another popular plaza.

The Police PRO of the Federal Capital Territory confirmed the incident and disclosed that there were no casualties. He also stated that the area has been secured. By 10 pm, the area had been cordoned off while search and rescue operations went on.

While the police made it known that Improvised Explosive Devices were used in the attack, people in the area said the bomb was apparently hurled from a moving vehicle.
