A fire incident was recorded at the private residence of Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the Governor of Ogun State on Wednesday. The fire stated in the house located within the Government Reservation Area in Ibara, Abeokuta in the afternoon. The prompt arrival of men of the fire service salvaged the situation and the fire was put under control, though it caused some damage to parts of the house.
President Obasanjo’s house in Abeoukuta too had recorded a fire incident months ago.
