Jonathan appoints Bode George’s wife as NDLEA boss

President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Mrs. Roli Bode-George as the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, disclosed this in a statement yesterday.

Abati said Mrs Bode-George takes over from Mr Olufemi Ajayi, who is now the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).

The presidential spokesman added that the appointment was with immediate effect.

The new NDLEA boss is the wife of a former Deputy National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George.
