Breaking News: DSP Patricia Amadin Is New PPRO Lagos State Police Command


The Lagos State Police Command has announced the appointment of Patricia Amadin, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, as the new Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command.

The Commissioner of Police, (CP) Mr Fatai Owoseni,The outgoing PPRO, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, made the announcement on Monday when presenting his successor to newsmen.

He said Amadin, who is occupying the position in acting capacity, would replace him following his redeployment to force headquarters, Abuja.

Nwosu, who said his successor was his course mate at Police Academy commended the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria members for the support given him during his six months tenure, urged them to support his successor too.

Amadin, in her response, said her new office was a familiar terrain, as she had once worked as Deputy Police PRO in Lagos.

Amadin said she still cherished the friendliness between the command and journalists assigned to cover its activities.
