The Lagos State Police Command has paraded four suspected members of the 18-man gang that robbed two banks in Ikorodu about two weeks ago.
It would be recalled that the hoodlums carted away millions of Naira from the banks before escaping through Ipakodo Jetty.
Parading the suspects on Monday, the state outgoing state Police Commissioner, Kayode Aderanti, said that three of the suspects were arrested within Ikorodu area, while the fourth was arrested in Ondo State.
Aderanti disclosed that the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) arrested the suspects arrested there following a confessional statement by one of them.
According to him, at the time of arrest, some of the suspects had used their loot to buy exotic cars which were also shown to newsmen.
The Commissioner of Police said that the police were still on the trail of the suspected members of the gang who were still at large in order to apprehend them.
