The founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, arrived Lagos Tuesday unannounced.
His visit has sent the social media into a abuzz.
He was pictured at the CoCreation hub, a tech incubation centre, in Yaba area of Lagos.
Zuckerberg arrived Tuesday afternoon from Rome where he was visiting with his wife, Priscilla.
The Zuckerbergs are interested in expanding their presence in Africa through the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative, which invested $24 million in Andela, a start up which trains African tech engineers. Andela has campuses in Lagos and Nairobi.
The billionaire is expected to visit the campus. He is also expected to participate at the Facebook’s developer workshop beginning Wednesday.
