The dismal of the labour leaders was contained in a report of a panel of inquiry set up to investigate alleged misconduct of executive members of the Nigeria Union of Teachers on the 2016 World Teachers’ Day celebration.Korodo said, “The sack of workers’ leaders in Ogun State is wrong; it is not done in a democratic setting.“We, in the Lagos council, condemn the act; we are advising the Ogun State Government to reinstate the sacked workers to avoid the wrath of other labour unions in the state. “We are appealing to the governor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun, to put his state in order. “What is happening in Ogun State can set the state on fire if nothing is done to reverse it in time. “The government should emulate other state governments that have resolved their labour issues without sacking any of their worker leaders.”
