Armed Robbery Attacks Claim Lives of 4 Policemen in Osun


It was a bad day for Osun Police Command, Tuesday, as four of its men were fell by armed robbers during a multiple bank robbery attacks in Iwo of the state.
The attacks, which were targeted at three banks on Bowen University road, Iwo, were said to have been carried out at about 4.p.m.
Confirming the robbery, the state police spokesperson, Folashade Odoro, said the incident claimed four policemen.
Odoro said the Commissioner of Police in the state, Fimihan Adeoye, as well as top officials of the police and State Security Service were presently in Iwo to deliberate on how to apprehend the hoodlums.
The incident led to pandemonium in the community as students and other residents were reported to have been injured as they scampered for safety.
