The Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo has approved the appointment of 21 new Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.
The Federal Government made the announcement in a statement issued by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita in Abuja on Thursday.
Oyo-Ita gave the names and State of Origin of the successful Permanent Secretaries as Mrs. Ehuria Ekeoma from Abia State, Mr. Akpan Sunday from Akwa Ibom, Mrs. Anabogu Nkiruka from Anambara state. Others are; Walson-Jack Esther from Bayelsa, Gekpe Isu- Cross River, Aliboh Lawrence from Delta, Uwaifo Clement Edo, Folayan Olaniyi Ekiti State, Osuji Marcellinus Imo, Mu’azu Abdulkadir Kaduna State and Sulaiman Lawal from Kano State. The rest are Abdullahi Mashi Katsina State, Adebiyi Adekunle Lagos State, Ibrahim Wen Nasarawa State, Odewale Olajide Ogun, Adesola Olusade Ondo State, Adekunle Adeyemi Oyo State, Nabasu Bako Plateau, Ekaro Chukumuebobo Rivers, Umar Bello Sokoto State and Tanimu from FCT.
Oyo-Ita said that their portfolios would be announced in due course.
