Breaking: 4 Arrested for Kidnap of Ogba Zoo Director, N61m Paid as Ransom

Four suspects alleged to have taken part in the kidnap of the Director of Ogba Zoo and Nature Park, Benin city, Andy Ehanire, have been arrested by men of the Edo State Anti-kidnapping Squad (SARS).
The suspects were arrested in Sapele, Delta State, hours ago (Thursday night).
Andy, a brother Dr Osagie Ehanire, Minister of State for Health, was freed on October 14, after spending more than three weeks in kidnappers’ den.
The kidnappers were said to have succeeded in collecting N25m and additional $100,000 as ransom, bringing the total ransom money to N61m.
The suspects said they had to kill the policemen because they had earlier attempted to kidnap Ehanire but failed because of the policemen around him.
The sum of N800,000 was recovered from the wife of one of the suspects. She was said to have been arrested and detained for alleged conspiracy.
It is still sketchy the circumstances under which the kidnappers were arrested as of the time of filing this report.
