Davido’s rise to prominence is one that most industry players find amazing as it took off from his first hit song and never experienced any setback or breakdown till date.
According to popular music executive producer, Mr. Lekki, Davido’s success in music can be attributed to his passion, hard work, and the ‘all-inclusive’ method of working and connecting with people to achieve a common goal.
Mr. Lekki made reference to when Davido had to pay Naeto C N1.3 million in 2012 to feature him on his song “Back When” which gave him the recognition he needed and sealed it off with his hit song “Dami Duro” which he featured Wizkid in the video.
Currently, Davido is undoubtedly one of the greatest artistes in Africa.
