The 13 Hausa Okada riders who allegedly attacked Lekki residents have been apprehended and charged to court.
The suspects were arraigned before Magistrate Mrs Tokun of the Igbosere Magistrate Court 3, on charges of aggravated assault and attempted murder.
The Street Journal had earlier reported that Hausa Okada riders attacked Lekki residents with dangerous weapons last week.
The suspects had no lawyers to stand in for them, however, some questionable lawyers exploited them by taking money from them in order to stand in for them.
The Magistrate considered their bail application and asked each of the suspects to produce a property in Lekki and documents from the Ministry of Lands to be kept in the custody of the Ministry of Justice as part of the conditions of the bail.
The suspects were also ordered to post a bail bond of N100,000 each and three years tax clearance certificate with valid evidence of source of income.
