Two arraigned for damaging N5m farm

Two men, Paul Tuoma Okene and Friday Adjohwenyo, have been arraigned at a Magistrate Court sitting in Agbarho, Ughelli North council area of Delta State, for allegedly damaging a cassava farm valued at N5 million.

The farm which is located at Obanoku, Orhokpokpo-Agbarho was said to belong to one Lucky Agbonifo.

Prosecutor told Chief Magistrate Geraldine Ofulue that the suspects, among other charges, “criminally trespassed” on the farm and “maliciously damaged cassava plants valued at N5 million”.

The suspects pleaded not guilty and were admitted to bail before the case was adjourned to August 31.
