Inner Wheel District 912 empowers women with literacy skills

IN an increasingly globalised society where literacy and numeracy skills are more essential than ever, reports have shown that 774 million adults lack the elementary knowledge vital for improving their livelihood thereby making more informed economic and political choices.

To save this situation, Inner Wheel District 912  Assisted Project in conjunction with Inner Wheel Clubs of Ogba, Akowonjo and Shogunle organised a 2 months Free Adult Literacy Class.

Speaking at the Flag-off ceremony, held at Agege local government, Stadium Bustop, Lagos, the Chairman, Inner Wheel District 912 Ronke Solomon pointed out that the program was organised for women with no education.
