#ENDSARS protesters at the Lekki-Ajah Toll Gate Plaza on Lekki-Epe Expressway have warned hoodlums to stay off their venue or face the music.

The warning became imminent due to incidents in Ikorodu, Lagos and Osogbo, Osun state venues of the protests.

Hoodlums were accused of hijacking the protests in some venues to foment trouble.

One of the speakers during the Sunday service urged other protesters not to entertain those who want to create a crisis.

“We can forestall the hoodlums’ evil agenda by showing resilience and be peaceful with them. As soon as we sight them, we should all sit down.

“By this, we will be passing a message that we are not here for violence. We should also be civil in our approach.

“Let’s not get angry with any provocative act. This would quell their aggressive mood. I pray they will not succeed,” the gathering shouted “Amen!”

The speaker later demonstrated to the protesters how to respond to any provocative action.

He also enjoined others to join him by sitting on the floor. They responded and everybody sat on the floor.

The service was electrifying with different praise songs and motivational speeches with intermittent prayers.

It was divided into two sections with clerics from members of the Catholic Church leading a section.

The Catholic Church Divine Mercy’s session was anchored by Most Senior Pastor, Monsignor Pascal.

He was supported by other clerics from the church.

The revered cleric hailed the peaceful nature of the protest.

Quoting verses from the Bible, he urged them to shun provocation and focused on their agitations.

Another reverend father praised the youth for their resilience.

Shortly after the sermons, some of the protesters were served Holy Communion.

Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Sam Adeyemi, in a televised sermon, prayed for the country.

Adeyemi enjoined the youths to be peaceful in their agitation for a better country and good policing.

He advised the protesters to be godly and remain focused.

The Lekki #ENDSARS protesters continued with blockade of the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

There were no vehicular movements to and fro the expressway.

The protesters were divided into four groups – two listen at the bigger service and the smaller one conducted by the Catholic Church.

The people in the third group were on queue for food and drink.

The last part was engaging in photo sessions and moving from one place to the other.
