The supreme court has affirmed Kefas Agbu as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba state.
One of the governorship aspirants, Prof. Jerome Nyameh, in 2022, instituted a case against Kefas challenging the process that produced him as the candidate of the party.
The federal high court sitting, in Jalingo, in September 2022, dismissed his case against Kefas for lacking in merit.
Similarly, the appeal court, Yola, in November 2022, dismissed the case, describing it as an internal affair of the party.
