The Enugu state government has revealed that its state-run airline, ‘Enugu Air,’ will officially begin commercial flights on Monday, July 7.
Dan Nwomeh, the senior special assistant on media to the state’s governor, Peter Mbah confirmed this via a post shared on the state’s official X handle.
The post read, “Enugu Air set to commence operations with inaugural commercial flight on Monday.”
Although the announcement confirmed the launch date, it did not include specifics such as the flight routes, schedules, or how to book tickets.
This latest update comes after a previous statement by the state government in the month of May, in which it promised that Enugu Air would begin flying that same month.
That plan, however, did not materialize.
