Lady driving from London to Lagos involved in ghastly accident (video)

A Nigerian travel content creator, driving from London to Lagos by road, Pelumi Nubi, has been involved in a ghastly car accident.

A picture posted on her Instagram page revealed that the adventurer experienced a car crash on Monday night, March 25.

Pelumi encountered the unfortunate incident just 24 hours after arriving in Liberia.

Details surrounding the accident and her injuries remain uncertain, as she shared images from inside the ambulance and hospital, accompanied by a plea for prayers.

Pelumi who embarked on the solo trip has been driving by car from London and is scheduled to arrive in Lagos on March 23, after driving for almost two months.

Despite facing obstacles such as a 24-hour border hold in Liberia, Pelumi remains determined to complete her expedition.

In an Instagram post last week, Pelumi who was barred from entering Sierra Leone expressed her exhaustion and frustration, revealing that officials questioned her idea of driving from London.

They said that driving right-handed vehicles are not allowed.

“It feels like every step forward, I’m pushed three steps back. I am quickly reminded that I’m not on a physical journey but a spiritual one too, so turning to prayer when the weight feels too heavy to bear alone. This is a call to all of you, my virtual family, to send your words of hope and encouragement”, she wrote.

Due to this accident, Pelumi’s journey will now end on April 7, 2024.
