Enugu State’s commercial airline, Enugu Air, which began operations in July, has drawn widespread attention online after a passenger was forcibly removed from one of its flights.

A video circulating on social media shows airline officials dragging a male passenger off the aircraft. In the footage, a voice is heard urging, “Yes, yes, go down,” suggesting that some onlookers were encouraging the action.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The passenger has not been identified, and neither Enugu Air nor the individual involved has released an official statement to explain what happened.

The plane, bearing the Enugu Air logo, was captured on camera as the passenger was led away amid a scene of apparent confusion.

This episode comes amid a string of high-profile airline confrontations in Nigeria, including Comfort Emmanson’s altercation with flight attendants on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos, and a reported dispute involving musician King Wasiu Ayinde, also known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, with ValueJet Airlines at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
