The All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos state Campaign Council on Thursday, September 17, 2026, named 33 entertainment industry personalities, including actors Jide Kosoko, Toyin Abraham, Eniola Badmus and Bimbo Akintola, alongside Fuji musicians Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Abass Akande Obesere and Adewale Ayuba, to its Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate.
The names were contained in the full list of the campaign council released by the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre ahead of its inauguration on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja.
According to the list, Toke Benson-Awoyinka will serve as director of the entertainment and creative economy directorate, while Kosoko is listed as co-director and Badmus as deputy director.
Akeem Alimi, popularly known as Ajala Jalingo, will serve as secretary, while Dare Olateju is listed as assistant secretary.
Other members from the Yoruba movie industry include veteran actor Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello, Saheed Balogun, Bukky Wright, Fathia Balogun, Yinka Quadri and Tayo Sobola.
The Fuji music sector is also represented by Pasuma, Obesere, Ayuba, Sulaimon Alao Adekunle, popularly known as Malaika, Akorede Babatunde Okunola, known as Osupa, and Temitope Adekunle, popularly known as Small Doctor.
The entertainment and creative economy directorate is one of several structures under the campaign council, which lists governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Chairman and Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as Deputy Chairman.
