The Olubadan of Ibadanland, his imperial majesty, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja (Arusa1) on Monday, September 14, hailed Seven Up Bottling company as one of the major employers of labour in Nigeria.
The appreciation message was contained in the press release issued and signed by chief Ayoade Solomon Olugbemiga, the chief press secretary to Olubadan of Ibadanland shortly after the courtesy visit paid to Oba Ladoja at his palace located at Oke Aremo Ibadan.
The paramount ruler commended Seven Up Bottling company for contributing immensely to the improvement of Nigeria economy especially in the employment drive and human capital development.
The Arusa1 called on other companies in the country to emulate the contributions of Seven Up not only in employment but also the quality of it’s products that promote heathy condition of the people among others.
Earlier in his address, the managing director of Seven Up Bottling company, Sari El – Khalil congratulated Oba Ladoja for his enthronement as 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
According to the managing director, specifically he led the management team of the company to seek for royal blessings and further assistance to keep the company going on smoothly.
Accompanied the managing director on the courtesy visit were the general manager, Rabah Maddah, the head of corporate affairs Nkem Agboti and others.
Present at the courtesy visit ceremony were the Balogun of Ibadanland,Oba Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola, Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland,Oba (Sir) Eddy Oyewole, Otun Balogun of Ibadanland,Oba (Dr ) Kolawole Adegbola, Ashipa Olubadan of Ibadanland,Oba Salawudeen Amidu Ajibade, Ashipa Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Dauda Abiodun Azees, Ekerin Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Muritala Adebayo Akande, Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin and other traditional chiefs.
