Stir to combine. 3.Place the pot on the stove and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. 4.Once the rice comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid, and simmer for 15-20 minutes. 5.After 15-20 minutes, turn off the heat and let the rice sit covered for an additional 5-10 minutes to absorb any remaining liquid. 6.Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
