Abuja Disco to compensate Band A customers for power shortages below 20 hours

    The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, has announced that it will compensate customers in Abuja and surrounding areas who did not receive the minimum 20 hours of power supply as stipulated for Band A feeders.

    In an official public notice, AEDC stated that affected customers will soon be informed of specific details regarding the compensation procedure.

    The company assured residents that it is taking steps to remedy the situation and that compensation is a proactive measure to acknowledge the impact of the inadequate power supply on customers’ daily lives.

    The areas identified in the notice include Lokoja, Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Garki, Asokoro, Jabi, Maitama, and Karu, as well as other neighboring communities.
