Previous seasons of Visa on Arrival have gathered over 12 million views on Accelerate TV’s YouTube channel and the series is widely loved not only because of the actors but also the outrageous situations and snapback comments between the visa officers and the visa seekers. The success of the comedy series can be attributed to Bovi Ugboma’s comedic genius and excellent burlesque writing as well as the talented lead characters playing the visa issuing officers. Visa on Arrival was recently nominated for two Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) for ‘Best Series’ and “Best Actress” and the series recently won a gold award in the ‘Entertainment Film’ category at the 2023 Pitcher Awards.
