An Air Algeria plane flying to Algiers from Ouagadougou has disappeared from the radar, Algerian authorities reported on Thursday morning.
According to the authorities, contact was lost with Flight AH 5017 about 50 minutes after it took off from the Burkinabe capital.
The plane, a DC 9 had 110 people on board.
