Africa’s wealthiest man and Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote, has stated that he was previously unaware that Mr Eazi, the son in law of his fellow billionaire Femi Otedola, operates 18 businesses across the continent.

In a speech delivered at the wedding of Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi, Aliko Dangote praised Mr Eazi’s entrepreneurial spirit.

Dangote stated his belief that the couple would one day be recognized as the wealthiest people on Earth.

He stated, “I never knew Mr. Eazi has businesses in 18 African countries. I must really congratulate you for being a great guy.

“Knowing that the two of you are always very charming, very entrepreneurial, I’m sure in the next few years we will take a back seat and call you the richest people on earth.”

He further said of Otedola, the chairman of Geregu Power and First Bank: “Femi is not only my friend, he is my brother.

Where you see me, you see Femi. If there is any brother that I have that is not of the same mother and father, that brother is Femi.”

Temi Otedola officially dropped her father’s surname after marrying Mr Eazi in Iceland.
