Angry mob beats man to pulp for stealing phone in Bayelsa (Photos)

    A man, whose name is yet to be known, has been mercilessly beaten by an angry mob after he snatched a phone from a lady at Opolo area of Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa state.

    According to reports, the man stole the lady’s phone from her shop on Monday, June 13.

    The victim then raised an alarm, which summoned a crowd that gathered and chased the robber.

    His accomplice who was waiting in a tricycle, upon seeing the enraged mob, reportedly drove off, leaving him to their mercy.

    According to a source, the mob finally apprehended the thief in Okutukutu area of the state capital, and beat him to a pulp.
