Self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro aka Blessing CEO, has tendered a public apology to the family of late Bimbo Martins the late wife of popular auto dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD.
Bimbo died on October 15, 2022 and after her demise, Blessing made some shocking allegations against her.
In a video she posted on social media this afternoon May 22, Blessing said that the recent events that happened, especially in the wake of the deaths of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad and Nollywood actor, John Odonwodo aka Junior Pope, has taught her how it feels to lose a loved one. She expressed how sad she felt even though she had no connection with these people but yet she felt really bad when they passed away.
She stated that they were just friends and nothing romantic ever happened between them.
“Apologies to the Martin’s family. It took me two years to understand grief and pain. I will never be too big to say I am sorry when I do wrong. To the Martins family I say I am sorry. It’s all peace. We learn everyday and a lot can be said out of ignorance. May the gentile soul of Mrs Abimbola Ogbonna Martins rest in peace. To the general public if I have hurt you in anyway, I am sorry. Tomorrow is my birthday and I just want to be at peace with everybody. I love you all,” she said.
Recall that shortly after Bimbo’s demise, Blessing made claims that the late Bimbo was the toxic one in her marriage to IVD. She made public some purported evidences to back her claims. Blessing who spoke as IVD’s therapist said the automobile dealer was never a violent man. She added that Bimbo had been suicidal since she was much younger.
She shared a voice note from someone she alleged was Bimbo’s childhood friend, insisting Bimbo tried to harm herself severally.
Blessing claimed that on the day of the fire incidence that claimed the life of Bimbo, IVD tried to save Bimbo by putting her in the family pool as the fire she started burnt her. She added that IVD was a weak man and everyone in the neighborhood knew it.
Recall that on Thursday, March 30 Blessing was picked up by men of the Federal Criminal Investigation Department, FCID. Upon her arrest, she was arraigned on a six-count charge of alleged cyber-bullying, libel, and for exhibiting uncensored movies.
At her arraignment, the prosecution counsel, Rotshang Faith Dimka of the Force Headquarters, Abuja, said Blessing on October 16, 2022, “intentionally sent messages using her Instagram handle @officialblessingceo to bully, threaten and harass one Folashade Samuels, a.k.a Mamajazz, a younger sister to the late Bimbo Ogbonna, wife of automobile businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD.”
Dimka also told the court that Blessing used her Instagram handle @officialblessingceo, to injure the reputation of Folashade Samuels and the late Bimbo Ogbonna, by exposing them to hatred, contempt, and ridicule. Blessing was remanded in prison on April 10, 2023 and regained her freedom on April 20, 2023.
