Blessing Okoro meets bail conditions, set free from detention after three weeks

    Self acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO has regained her freedom from detention for libel and defamation.

    A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Thursday granted her bail after she met her bail requirements.

    Okoro’s lawyer, Prince I. Nwafuru, confirmed her release from detention.

    Before her release, a lady had staged a one man protest while pleading for her release.

    Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday’s former lover, Honourable Opeyemi Falegan had also offered to stand as a surety and provide the necessary requirements to facilitate her release.

    The controversial relationship expert posted on her Instagram page on Thursday evening for the first time since she was thrown into detention, suggestive of her release.

    Blessing CEO was arrested by the police on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

    The Nigeria Police Force had arraigned Okoro before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court on six counts bordering on alleged cyber-bullying, libel and for exhibiting of uncensored movies.
