A secondary school building has collapsed in the Busa-Buji area of Jos North Local Government of Plateau State trapping many students under the rubble.
The two-storey building of Saints Academy was said to have collapsed at about 11am on Friday, and until filing of this report, many students are still trapped.
It was gathered that an immediate intervention is ongoing to rescue the children, and cranes with rescue workers have been working working to that effect. Other person have also been using their bare hands in the rescue efforts.
Parents of students have trooped to the site,as well as community members, and the atmosphere is tensed and with palpable anxious moments.
Injuries are already been confirmed and fatalities are being rumored.
