President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, January 3, signed the 2023 appropriation bill of N21.83 trillion.
Buhari signed the budget at the council chamber of the presidential villa, Abuja.
Among those present at the signing of the budget were senate president Ahmad Lawan, Femi Gbajabiamila, speaker of the house of representatives, Zainab Ahmad, finance minster, Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), and James Faleke, chairman of the committee on finance, according to The Cable.
Recall that the senate president, Ahmed Lawan, on Friday, December 30, said that President Muhammadu Buhari will sign the 2023 appropriation bill on Tuesday.
Lawan made the disclosure after a closed-door meeting with Buhari at the presidential villa on Friday, December 30.
