    Outgoing Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Prof. Yahuza Bello said on Sunday the three COVID-19 testing centres established by the institution since the outbreak of the pandemic had tested no fewer than 27,831 samples.

    Bello stated this on Sunday during the inauguration of the International Conference Centre (ICC) at BUK’s College of Health Sciences, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano.

    He added that out of the 27,831 tests conducted, over 13,000 samples were from Kano and others were from Jigawa, Yobe, Kaduna and Katsina states.
