After lambasting her estranged husband and describing her marriage to him as ‘bitter kola’, controversial Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala has reconciled with her estranged husband, Kingsley Anyanwuagwu amid her ongoing relationship scandal involving equally controversial pastor, Chris Okafor, the founder of Grace Nation International, also known as Liberation City.
The actress was seen kneeling down to beg him as they hugged and held each other at a burial ceremony that took place in Abia State.
Doris began dating Chris Okafor even before meeting her husband. The relationship between the two continued while she was still married to her husband. At some point in the marriage, she walked out of it on Chris’s instructions in hopes that she will finally settle down with the pastor.
Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Chris dumped her and married someone else which prompted her to call him out and embarked on a campaign of calumny against him. She was arrested for defamation.
After her arrest, Doris disclosed that the clergyman had a private meeting with her at the station and begged her for forgiveness. As part of their peace agreement, the actress demanded a house from him. However, a few days later, she called out Chris for paying her just $10,000 and vowed to expose his alleged criminal acts.
Following the controversy, Okafor stepped down from the pulpit and handed over to some pastors under him. Reacting to numerous allegations against Chris, the Lagos state police invited him for questioning which he eventually honoured. We await the outcome of the investigation.
