Dammy Twitch’s ‘Call Of My Life’ emerges Nigeria’s highest-grossing film of 2026 with ₦817.6m in earnings

    Apampa Owolabi Oluwadamilola also known as Dammy Twitch’s Call of My Life emerges as Nigeria’s highest grossing film of 2026 after grossing N817.6 million at the box office.

    FilmOne studios announced the milestone in an instagram post, saying the film, which premiered in cinemas on Friday, May 15, had set new benchmarks for Nollywood.

    The studio said the romantic comedy is now the highest-grossing Nigerian film of the year, the highest-grossing May release, the highest-grossing romantic comedy and the highest-grossing BluHouse studios production.

    “An incredibly proud moment! Today, we celebrate more than a box office milestone. We celebrate a film that captured hearts, broke records, and raised the bar for Nollywood,” the post read.

    FilmOne thanked moviegoers for supporting the film, saying their patronage turned it into a historic success.

    It also congratulated the cast and crew for the achievement.

    Twitch, who made his directorial debut with the film, also celebrated the milestone on X, describing himself as the highest-grossing director of 2026.
