Ebikeme, the son of elder statesman, Chief Edwin K. Clark has regained his freedom from his abductors. Mr Clark was kidnapped in Kiagbodo Community in Bomadi, Delta State last Wednesday.
DSP Tina Kalu, the Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command confirmed that Ebikeme was released around midnight on Saturday. The kidnappers had earlier demanded a ransom of N 50 million. It could however not be confirmed as of the time of filing the report whether the ransom was paid or not.
