Operatives from the Ibadan Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) successfully apprehended 55 individuals believed to be involved in internet fraud
This significant crackdown took place during a well coordinated sting operation carried out on Wednesday, July 6, 2025, at K Hotel situated in the Itori area of Ewekoro Local Government, Ogun State.
The operation was the result of reliable intelligence that linked the suspects to various cybercrime activities, prompting swift action by the EFCC.
