Since then, Nyako’s whereabouts have been unknown, for fear of imminent arrest by the anti-graft agency.
Nyako’s decision to decamp to the opposition party, All Progressive Congress (APC) was said to have worsened his chances of having a smooth ride after his impeachment.

It is not certain if his son, Abdul Aziz is in the country, EFCC authorities are said to have beamed their searchlight on Adamawa State and other possible locations, he could be hiding.
