Interim coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Austine Eguavoen has hinted at the possibility of playing CSKA Moscow winger Chidera Ejuke as the number ten of the Super Eagles at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. Ejuke who is well known for his dribbling abilities has set the Russian League alight with his abilities to go past his markers with ease and most importantly he has added goals to his game. Speaking during yesterday’s session with the media, Eguavoen said the team’s creativity burden lies on the shoulder of the 23 year old but they won’t hesitate to tweak formations if playing him there doesn’t work. “The creative role is where the team has been lacking. Of late, we have found Chidera (Ejuke) but if it is not working, we may have to change our tactics and be flexible in the way we play”, the coach said. During the course of yesterday’s training session, Ejuke operated from the number ten position for his team with the wing slot going to the quartet of Moses Simon, Peter Olayinka, Henry Onyekuru and Ahmed Musa.
