The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has arrested some criminals over their involvement in armed robbery, illegal possession of firearms, and kidnapping.
The police also recovered several arms and ammunition from the criminals.
According to the police, the arrested criminals were apprehended at You and You Hotel, in Masaka/Area 1 region of the FCT.
The items recovered from the criminals include five AK47 rifles, four G-3 rifles, 122 live ammunitions of 7.62mm, one locally made pistol without ammunition, 3 ballistic vest, 6 AK47 empty magazines, 7 G-3 empty magazines, charms, one police sergeant warrant card, one vigilante ID card, one Civil Defence I.D card, one Toyota Camry 2000 model, one golf 3 wagon green colour, two generators, and one filing machine.
