FG deported 70 Koreans, Egyptians, other foreigners in last two years – Minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola

    The federal government, on Thursday, January 26, said that it deported 70 foreign nationals for various infractions in the last two years. 

    The minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola, made this known at the 64th session of the state house ministerial briefing organized by the presidential communications team, at the Aso Rock villa, Abuja, The Punch reports.

    “In the last two years, the federal government issued a total of 70 deportation orders to different nationals due to one infraction or the other,” Aregbesola said. 

    “The majority of those deported were from the Democratic Republic of Korea, Egypt, Sri Lanka and a host of others.”
