The Federation Account Allocation Committee, FAAC, has disbursed a total of N2.103 trillion to the three tiers of government as federation allocation for September 2025.
The allocation was made during FAAC’s October 2025 meeting, chaired by the Accountant General of the Federation, Shamsudeen Ogunjimi.
According to details from the meeting, the total shared amount was drawn from a gross revenue of N3.054 trillion, comprising Gross Statutory Revenue, Value Added Tax, VAT, and the Electronic Money Transfer Levy, EMTL.
Out of the distributed sum, the Federal Government received N711.31 billion, State Governments got N727.17 billion, and Local Government Councils were allocated N529.95 billion. Additionally, Oil Producing States received N134.96 billion as 13 percent derivation revenue.

It was noted that Gross Revenue from VAT for September 2025 stood at N872.63 billion, an increase of N150.01 billion compared to the N722.62 billion recorded in August 2025. From the VAT proceeds, N34.91 billion was deducted as the cost of collection, while N25.13 billion went to transfers, interventions, and refunds.
