The incident took place at Bray Studios in Windsor, where the second season of the Amazon Studios series is being shot. Reports said an electrical fire started in a warehouse outside the backlot at about 3:00 pm on Monday. Filming was interrupted for about an hour while the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended to it and then it soon resumed. Neither the cast nor the staff had to leave the set. Filming was put on hold out of of caution, and everyone stayed at Bray before going back to work. The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said in a statement, “At 12:26pm on Monday, 3 April, we received reports of a fire at Bray Studios near Windsor. Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bracknell, Slough and Maidenhead Fire Stations were sent to the scene.” “Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a single storey storage workshop located away from the filming set. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used three hose reels and a main jet to extinguish the fire. “Firefighters were on the scene for approximately four hours and 35 minutes. An investigation will take place to determine the cause of the fire.” The fantasy television series, which is said to be the most expensive ever produced, debuted on Amazon Prime Video last year. It is based on the writings of author J.R.R. In 2024, the second season is anticipated to go online. The fire is the second incident to occur on the show’s sets this year. A horse had a heart attack on March 21 before a performance. The scenario had been confirmed by a statement from Amazon Studios. “We are deeply saddened to confirm that a production horse died on 21st March,” an Amazon spokesperson had said. “The incident took place in the morning whilst the horse was being exercised prior to rehearsals. The trainer was not in costume and filming had yet to commence. Both a veterinarian and a representative of the American Humane Association were present at the time.
