Fire razes timber market in Imo, destroys good worth millions (Photos)

The Timber market at the Wetheral Road area of Owerri in Imo State was razed by fire in the early hours of Saturday, December 24, 2022.

Residents and victims whose goods were lost in the fire were lamenting their losses, PUNCH disclosed.

Several victims said the fire started around 1:00 a.m. (December 24) but before they could rush to the market everything was lost in the fire.
