The group also has a profound focus on enhancing the wellbeing of women, infants and children through a confluence of multifaceted programmes and national and global advocacy endeavours. Country Representative of the Foundation, Motunrayo Mgbakogu, who spoke at Global Handwashing Day 2023, in Abuja, explained that remarkable impact has been made with proper handwashing technique to create public health awareness and wellbeing. She hinted that they have extended its reach and work towards achieving SDG3, SDG6 and SDG17, positively influencing the lives of 3,966 students, engaging with 2,587 individuals within communities, and equipping 9,974 mothers in healthcare facilities. According to Mgbakogu, these figures pertain to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) alone. She said these achievements symbolise not just transformed lives but also strengthened communities and they illuminate the path towards a more sustainable future.
