The Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi lost his aged mother, Alhaja Sikirat Abeje Ajimobi on Wednesday evening. She was a prominent trader, devout Muslim and community leader. Alhaja Ajimobi was survived by nine children.
Burial has been slated for Thursday according to Islamic rites. A statement signed by Festus Adedayo, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media made it known that the burial will take place at the deceased’s husband’s house at Johnson Awe Street, Apata by 2pm.
