Nine children and grandchildren of HRH ALHAJI Sa’ad Abubakar, the Emir of Kagarko, in the southern part of Kaduna State, have been abducted by gunmen.
On May 7, 2023, Sunday night, a resident claimed that the gunmen broke into the neighborhood around 11:15 p.m. and made their way straight to the Emir’s home.
His youngest wife, nine children, and grandchildren were taken away, but the wife managed to flee.
In addition to the three people they took, the gunmen also injured Audu Kwakulu of Ungwan Pah, who is currently receiving medical attention at the hospital.
On their way back, the bandits also killed one herdsman in Kuchimi village and looted seven shops in Janjala village (both in Kagarko LG)
