I was sexually molested by my mother’s friend, dealt drugs at 6 – British footballer, Alli reveals

    Uk-born footballer, Dele Alli has opened up on how he became a victim of sexual abuse and drugs at a young age in life, among other experience in his career.

    Sharing his experience with a former footballer, Gary Neville, Alli revealed that he was molested by his mother’s friend at age six, while admitting dealing in drugs and smoking at a young age.

    The former Everton and England mid-fielder revealed that he spent six weeks in rehabilitation center in the United States this summer to help him with a sleeping pill addiction.

    Alli explained that his childhood trauma begun at six years when he was molested at the hand of his biological mum’s friend aged six, recalling also that he started smoking when he was seven and dealing drugs when he was just eight years old.

    He disclosed that he was hung off a bridge by a man from his local area as a child.

    As part of the consequences of early indecent exposure, Alli said that he now  feels betrayed by his biological parents and has no interest in a relationship with either of them.

    The footballer explained that he had once seriously contemplated retiring from football just at 24 years.

    He saluted Mauricio Pochettino as the best manager he’s ever played for and shunned others for being fake.

    Dele Alli who spoke more about his life also revealed the moment Jose Mourinho apologized for calling him lazy but it was never mentioned in Tottenham’s Amazon Prime documentary, while he was full of appreciation for Everton manager Sean Dyche, for his understanding in recent months.

    Speaking about his addiction, he said that,  “I got addicted to sleeping tablets, it’s a problem not only I have. It’s going around more than people realized in football.

    He concluded by saying that, “Now is probably the right time to tell people. It’s tough to talk about it as it’s quite recent and something I’ve hid for a long time and I’m scared to talk about.

    “When I came back from Turkey, I came back and found out I needed an operation,” he concluded.
