The wife of the supreme leader of Iran became one of the casualties of Operation Epic Fury, launched by the U.S and Israel over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear programme.
86-years-old Khamenei had been in power since 1989.
At least 40 members of Khamenei’s regime were also killed in a wave of attacks launched over the weekend.
